Okay, a while ago I recommended KT Tunstall as singer of the week. And I still say she's amazing beyond belief. But I just wanted to add that I finally got a copy of Drastic Fantastic! That was really cool - I have fallen in love with track #5; it's called "Hold On" and it is...well, it's a slightly different style than before, but it's a good song.
It's the kind that's really easy to sing and dance to, and it just gets stuck in your head. But I don't mind it stuck in my head, because I seriously think it must be my new favorite song or something. I could listen to it for ages on end, and never get tired of it. Or, at the moment, I maintain that belief.
I first heard the song in a preview of the music video on iTunes before I got the CD. And then I watched the entire MV, and then I got the CD, so I must admit, I was prompted to listen to track 5 before anything else - the song after it is just as catchy as "Hold On", and it has also been stuck in my head on various days.
The cover artwork for the CD is the coolest thing ever; it's set up like a comic book, and the only words are the titles of the songs, which have been worked, in order, into the comic. Or else the comic was written to accommodate the songs. I have no idea. I'm too tired...going to bed.
